analogies

I dont like them.
in fact I think I hate analogies
people use them unnecessarily.
and because they use them to escape having to state things simply.



but I can't blame others for slipping them in when they aren't needed, or getting carried away with them, because I like to do it too. It is a proud moment when you make an original and well heeded analogy. One that fits the moment perfectly. But mine usually serve a purpose....usually.

In fact, analogies are great when I make them (great for me, I mean)
otherwise, there are some who make analogies which i hate, but they are a part of their charm.

It's like marmite. Even if you hate it, you can't deny that you understand why people love it.
