must be.

These two sidewalks, parallel
will never meet
what I'm waiting
is for her to cross the street

The rats that roam between
waiting to conquer
hold my sneeze
when I become allergic to your colour

The trees were shaped like
out of a child's drawing
which he composed
for his first grade darling

These two sidewalks, parallel
will never meet
The lamppost light has
only fermented your lies into deceit.

We will dive into deep
murky puddles of sweat

We will shine,
We will shine.

Never meeting, same minds.
two whole words apart.
