why I am I up at 2:00am reading about Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears.

Because, life is better this way.
life is better when you are ignorant, and empty.
it's better when you let Big brother love you like he wants to.
it's better when the world keeps spinning even when it's dying.
it's better when we don't care and curl up our unctuous smiles
and raise our tattooed eyebrows at whatever is insignificant
it's better when we are beautiful, not clever.
it's better when we leave the poor to die, kill the helpless.
it's better when we let only the fittest survive.

it's better when everything is under control, and every one is happy
it's better when we live aimlessly,
it's better then dying a martyr's death.

Because life is better this way.

when you have brand new shoes,
when you have painted nails
and done up hair
when depth is limited
and gossip endless.
when it's ok to not be good enough
when there are no grey areas
just what's right and what's right.
