Choke

SPOILER ALERT-->Choke, as a novel wasn't that fun to read because it's not up to my reading level. But the idea and the theme of the story were fixating. It's about a sexaholic who goes to sexaholics recovery meetings to score more hard ons. he also for sometime believes he was created using the foreskin of the amputated penis of Jesus. So he is Jesus. There's merely a climax or ending, but still the character is a story unto himself. He mentions a brochure thats handed out at the meetings and it has a checklist, and if any of it applies to you, you are in danger of being a sexaholic, except sexaholics use this brochure to just find out all the different tricks of the trade.

Choke is by Chuck Palahniuk, who also wrote Fightclub which was turned into a well known movie by David Fincher.

His nonfiction work 'Stranger than Fiction' is a compilation of true stories, some of them his own. In which he talks about meeting Brad Pitt, his father's murder, and how his father's father shot his wife and then himself.
